Mr. Halliburton is a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Tradition Asset Management. He oversees the investment research and strategy for Tradition. In addition, he heads the Investment Committee and covers the Energy and Technology sectors. Mr. Halliburton has over a quarter of a century of professional investing experience including ten years at Brundage, Story and Rose, a New York City based investment advisor acquired by Bessemer Trust, where he was Director of Research and responsible for overseeing the firm's equity selection process. He was a principal of that firm and a member of its Investment Policy Committee. He also designed, developed and managed that firm's Disciplined Growth Strategy. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and earned an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business in 1990, where he was distinguished as a Fuqua Scholar. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1985.
Diane L. Sobin, CFA
Portfolio Manager, Managing Director
Ms. Sobin is a Managing Director and member of Tradition’s Investment Committee. As a portfolio manager, she leads the Environmental, Social, Governance and Female Focus strategies for the firm. Ms. Sobin has over three decades of investment management experience including seventeen years with Columbia Threadneedle Investments (a division of Ameriprise Financial) in both New York and London, where she was Senior Portfolio Manager, Executive Director and head of U.S. Equities. She was recognized as one of the top 100 Women in Finance in Europe in 2014 by European Financial News. Ms. Sobin has lead managed core equity, mid and small cap equities and dividend growth funds at Columbia Threadneedle, Zurich Scudder, JP Morgan (formerly Chase Manhattan) and Oppenheimer Funds. She holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of New York. Ms. Sobin graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
Christopher J. Trompeter, CFA
Mr. Trompeter is Managing Director at Tradition Asset Management and works on Tradition’s Investment Committee. Mr. Trompeter is also an analyst responsible for the Consumer Discretionary sector and regional banks. He is a founder and principal of the firm and has over three decades of investment management experience. Prior to Tradition Capital Management, Mr. Trompeter was a senior portfolio manager at Brundage, Story and Rose, where he was a member of the Core Stock Selection Group and the Technology Research Group. Mr. Trompeter’s extensive experience includes Citibank Global Asset Management, where he was a senior portfolio manager. Mr. Trompeter began his career at Bankers Trust Company in 1978 managing equity, balanced and fixed income portfolios for institutional clients. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Mr. Trompeter graduated from St. Lawrence University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Government.
Alan J. Reef
Mr. Reef is a Managing Director and member of Tradition Assets’s Investment Committee. He is also a member of the All-Cap Advantage Strategy portfolio manager team. Mr. Reef’s direct analyst responsibilities are money center banks and insurance companies. Prior to joining Tradition, he was President, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer of Overbrook Management Company, a 67 year-old family office, where he was responsible for the firm’s investments and management of the company. Before Overbrook, Mr. Reef was a Managing Director, Director of Research and member of the Investment Policy Committee at Brundage, Story & Rose. Mr. Reef began his investment career at Lehman Management Company, then a division of Lehman Brothers. Lehman’s institutional business became Ark Asset Management. Mr. Reef worked for thirteen years at Ark and its predecessor where he rose to Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with honors and an MBA with Distinction from New York University’s Stern School. Mr. Reef is active in community affairs and sits on various investment and finance committees.
Mr. Turko is a Managing Director of Tradition Asset Management, where he contributes to the research and portfolio management process. Mr. Turko works on both the Dividend Value Strategy and the All-Cap Advantage portfolio management teams. Mr. Turko was a Managing Director and a founding member of Haven Capital Management. He was a Principal in the group that was spun out of Goldman Sachs to form the predecessor to Haven. His role at Haven cut across all aspects of the investment process and management of portfolios. In addition, he coordinated the firm’s institutional business development. He graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and from Columbia University with an MBA. Mr. Turko is active in community and educational affairs as a member of the Investment Committee of Overlook Hospital Foundation and the Summit Area YMCA. He is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Deerfield Academy, where he served as Chairman of both the Finance and Investment Committees. He is also active in Yale alumni affairs.
Mr. Ely is a Managing Director of Tradition Asset Management. He manages portfolios for individuals at Tradition Asset Management. In addition he is a contributor to Tradition’s research process, focusing on industry and economic trends. Mr. Ely was a Managing Director and one of the founding members of Haven Capital Management. In addition to equity and economic research, he managed portfolios for individual clients. Mr. Ely began his career at Kuhn Loeb & Co. where he became a Partner in charge of the firm’s Investment Advisory Department. He joined Haven’s predecessor as a Principal, and was a member of the original group that founded Haven. He graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor or Arts in History, and attended the Graduate School of Business at New York University.
John W. Feaster
Mr. Feaster is a Managing Director and Investment Committee member at Tradition Asset Management. He is responsible for managing the firm’s fixed income portfolios. He actively manages both taxable and non-taxable portfolios in strategies ranging from Enhanced Cash to Core. Prior to joining Tradition, he worked at WBI, focusing on actively managed ETF, SMA and UMA strategies. Prior to WBI, he worked for Portland House Group, Australia’s largest private funds group specializing in quantitative multi-asset investment management. He began his career at Fox Asset Management, a division of Eaton Vance, specializing in fixed income portfolio management and trading for institutional and high net worth clients. Mr. Feaster earned an MBA from Rutgers University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Fordham University.
Robert J. Voccola, CFA
Mr. Voccola is a Managing Director and member of the investment committee at Tradition Asset Management. He has a Chartered Financial Analyst Designation. Mr. Voccola earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lehigh University and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business.
Between academic degrees, Mr. Voccola was commissioned as Ensign in the United States Naval Reserve. After his graduation from the United States Navy Officer Candidate School, he served four years on active duty as a Line Officer.
Mr. Voccola began his Wall Street career as a security analyst for Clark, Dodge & Co. (eventually taken over by Kidder, Peabody & Co.) Subsequent positions included Senior Vice President at Bernstein-Macaulay Inc., a division of Shearson Lehman/American Express, and Director of Research and Chief Investment Officer at Barrett Associate Inc., at that time a division of Legg Mason Inc.
Michael C. Provine, J.D., LL.M
Mr. Provine is Managing Director for Tradition Asset Management where he leads the wealth management portion of the business. He works with clients to design and implement investment strategies for their portfolios. Mr. Provine also works with clients to make certain their trust and estate plans are designed to best carry out their wishes as he did for the clients of Brundage, Story and Rose for the nine years prior to his founding Tradition. Mr. Provine utilizes his legal training for reviews of clients' financial, retirement and estate planning arrangements, and prepares recommendations for execution by their legal, accounting, and insurance professionals. Mr. Provine was President of The Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company of New York. He earned a law degree and an advanced tax degree from Temple University and is a licensed attorney. He is also a graduate of St. Joseph's University. For over thirty-five years, he has worked in the investment management business providing strategic planning and tax reviews.
Marc Davis, CFA
Mr. Davis is an industry research analyst working on the Health Care and Consumer Staples sectors for Tradition Asset Management. He works on the Investment Committee. Mr. Davis joined Tradition in 2002 and started his investment management career in equity research at Brundage, Story and Rose where he was a junior equity analyst following Health Care, Consumer Staples and Basic Materials companies. He was also a member of the firm's Health Care and Basic Materials industry working groups. He earned a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the New York Bar. Mr. Davis graduated from Columbia College in 1985 and earned his JD degree from the New York University School of Law in 1989.
Mr. Welch is senior trading specialist and oversees the firm’s trading functions. He joined Tradition in 2010 as a portfolio administrator in operations with responsibilities for the portfolio management system reconciliation and reporting. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Financial Planner at AXA Equitable assisting individuals with wealth management strategies, annuities, long-term care policies and life insurance. Mr. Welch graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
Mr. Martin is vice president and operations systems manager at Tradition Asset Management. Originally hired as a portfolio administrator in charge of reconciling and opening new accounts, Mr. Martin is now responsible for overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, information technology, human resources, daily reconciliation, opening new accounts, and providing guidance to new employees within the operations department. A graduate of Geneva College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, Mr. Martin has been with Tradition since 2001.
Institutional Operations Associate
Mrs. Kelly is Institutional Operations Associate and is responsible for the construction of the firm’s composites, performance calculation and GIPS verification process. Mary maintains all third-party databases as well as all RFP submissions. She joined Tradition in 2005 as a portfolio administrator responsible for reconciling accounts and opening new accounts. Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Frani Feit, CFP®
Ms. Feit is a Financial Advisor with a Certified Financial Planner designation. She is responsible for managing the delivery of investment services to clients along with the selection of investments to be deployed in client accounts. Ms. Feit works with clients to tie both their financial and personal goals together with their investment allocation, time horizon and related tax implications. Prior to joining Tradition she was a Financial Planner at Graf Financial Advisors, a boutique planning and investment management firm. Ms. Feit graduated from The George Washington University with a Business degree in Accounting. She began her career at Laventhol and Horwath, CPA’s and subsequently was a Pension Consultant with Consulting Actuaries, Inc. working with individual and corporate retirement plans. She is a graduate of the Fairleigh Dickinson University Financial Planning Program and is an Adjunct Professor at FDU’s Madison Campus.
Chip Wieczorek, CFP®
Mr. Wieczorek is a Director and Financial Advisor at Tradition Asset Management. He works with clients to design and implement investment strategies for their portfolios. Mr. Wieczorek also works with clients to make certain their trust and estate plans are designed to best carry out their wishes. With almost a decade of experience in the financial services industry, he brings a broad range of experience to Tradition. Prior to joining Tradition he was a Vice President at Beacon Trust Company for over five years where he was a member of the Officers Trust Committee. Mr. Wieczorek was a financial planning specialist at Smith Barney where he was responsible for business development, planning and trading of client accounts. He is a member of the Northern New Jersey Estate Planning Council and sat on the golf committee for the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ. Mr. Wieczorek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Accounting from Rutgers University. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner designation.
Michael Ciccone, CFP®
Michael Ciccone, CFP® is a Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner at Tradition where he develops and implements comprehensive financial plans to align a client’s spending, savings, investment allocations, and other elements to support their financial goals. He is also involved in investment selection, portfolio modeling and customization, and rebalancing – as well as sourcing and implementing new technology to improve our service offerings. Mr. Ciccone has been quoted as an expert on investing and financial planning issues in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, The Chicago Sun Times, NerdWallet.com, TheStreet.com, MSN.com, and many others. He completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ program at William Paterson University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and as the top student in the program for the year. While in college, he co-founded the first official Student Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and served as its inaugural Vice President. Mr. Ciccone resides in Somerset County and outside of work he enjoys unwinding with a good book, traveling with his wife, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Sharon C. Buccafusco
Ms. Buccafusco has been with Tradition since 2007 and serves as the client service and compliance associate. Prior to joining, Ms. Buccafusco served as an Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan Chase in the Investment Bank. During her 34 year tenure, she held positions as a financial analyst, Operations Manager, Product Manager, and Financial Controller in the Operations, Cash Management, and Investment Bank and Technology Divisions. Responsible for the maintenance of the regulatory compliance procedures of the firm, she is currently pursuing the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation, an industry-wide recognized educational achievement for Investment Advisers’ Compliance Professionals.
Assistant Vice President
Mrs. Cohen joined Tradition Asset Management as Portfolio Administrator in October of 2012. Prior to joining Tradition, Mrs. Cohen worked at MB Investment Partners for 23 years as Portfolio Administrator and Vice President of Operation. In her current role she is responsible for reconciling, generating performance and quarterly reports and providing excellent client service.
Operations and Administrative Associate
Mr. Kearney works with Tradition as a operations and administrative associate. Pat provides administrative support across a broad array of functional areas. He previously worked on a trade desk at Prudential Financial. Pat holds an MS in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Fordham University and is currently studying for the CPA exam.
Assistant Vice President
Mrs. Corazza is a Client Service Associate at Tradition. She helps senior advisors create retirement plans for clients and additionally provides exceptional client service. Mrs. Corazza began her career at UBS as an institutional equity sales person and later took on a trust advisor role at Beacon Trust. She has been meeting both institutional and private client needs for over 15 years. Mrs. Corazza graduated Cum Laude from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Mrs. Corazza resides in Convent Station with her husband and two little girls and enjoys spending time with family, CrossFit, and cooking.
